Annually the students at the junior high put on and perform a musical in the spring. This year the annual spring musical is  The Little Mermaid Jr. Students in all grades at the junior high who were interested auditioned in order to obtain a role in the spring performance. The play is directed by ninth grade English teacher Alyssa Becher. The play features several songs from the Disney motion picture movie The Little Mermaid performed by students at the junior high, dances preformed by dancers who auditioned to dance for the play and several scenes that appear in the movie. Come out to see  fellow students who have taken the time to practice and put on this play. The play is to take place Friday March 6 and 7 at 7 p.m. in the junior high auditorium.
