“Boulevard of Broken Dreams” by Green day

The song of the week is from Green day “Boulevard of broken dreams.”  This song holds so much in just a couple verses.  Mostly, the song talks about being alone.  A lot of people go through depression and bullying and all the things that no one should go through in their life.  This song is connecting with the people that do feel alone and sad. The song is trying to say that that person may feel alone, but they are not.  The artist is going through the same thing.

It’s a very sweet song because it’s trying to get a message that everyone feels sad and depressed sometimes so what ever the listener is going through so is someone else out there.  It’s a great message to get across.  When the artist is trying to get the message across, he is trying to do it in a way of describing how he feels so the listener can relate. It’s has passion and rhythm but like all good music it has a message for the listener.  This song is definitely a song that has a connection to it, and that’s why it’s this weeks song.  It is a amazing dong for anyone feeling alone or hurt so it is a very sweet and compassion song to listen to.

I walk a lonely road

The only one that I have ever known

Don’t know where it goes

But it’s only me, and I walk alone

I walk this empty street

On the boulevard of broken dreams

Where the city sleeps

And I’m the only one, and I walk alone

I walk alone, I walk alone

I walk alone and I walk a

My shadow’s the only one that walks beside me

My shallow heart’s the only thing that’s beating

Sometimes I wish someone out there will find me

Till then I walk alone
