Whats going on in the movie world this week?
On Feb. 28,2016 The Oscars will premiere for their 88th time on ABC network at 7 P.M. The Oscars first premiered on March 19, 1953 and have continued up to now. Chris Rock will be hosting this years Awards for the second time at the Dolby Theatre at Hollywood & Highland Center in Hollywood.
The nominees for Best Pictures are The Big Short, Bridge of Spies, Brooklyn, Mad Max: Fury Road, The Martian, The Revenant, Room and Spotlight. Nominees for Actor in a Leading role are Bryan Cranston, Matt Damon, Leonardo DiCaprio, Michael Fassbender and Eddie Redmayne. Actress in a lead role nominees are Cate Blanchett, Brie Larson, Jennifer Lawrence, Charlotte Rampling and Saoirse Ronan.
