“Warning if you have not seen the new season of Stranger Things then do not read this review, because of several spoilers of the new season ahead (duh)*
Wow I just finished watching season two of the Netflix original Stranger Things, and it was amazing. This season was filled with action packed events. The story starts off with the boys getting ready for Halloween, in the supernatural town of Hawkins, Indiana. The new season also brought on new talent with the likes of Sean Astin, Paul Reiser, Linnea Berthelsen, Sadie Sink and Dacre Montgomery with each adding their own flavor to the mix.
This season is filled with terrifying moments that gave a good scare to the viewer. The creators of the show, the Duffer brothers have been said to have upped the ante for the third season and being even more terrifying than the second season. The characters all together have seemed to have matured a lot more since the first season and the characters have all become even more likeable. The blossoming romance that started in season one continues between Millie Bobby Brown and Finn Wolfhard who play Eleven and Mike. This season compared to the first season is by far way ahead of on the coolness level.
The season so far has won the Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series, Producers Guild of America Award – Norman Felton Producer of the Year Award in Episodic Television – Drama, MTV Movie & TV Awards for Show of the Year,MTV Movie & TV Award for Best Actor in a Show, and will probably win much more in the future.
Since the first season I have been wanting to know what happened to Eleven and how they will continue with the story. Although this season was great I am upset, like everyone else that we have to wait an entire year for the next season of this amazing Netflix original. Overall I give this season, out of a rating of ten, a rating of eleven.
