(2/2-2/3) 8th Grade Class Committee…please check Google Classroom for some very important messages including lunch meetings in Mrs. Wilson’s room Thursday and Friday of THIS WEEK!

(1/31-2/3) Attention Students:  The library will be mailing out overdue notices for any overdue books from the first and second marking periods on Friday.  Please return or renew any overdue book you may have before Friday. 

(2/2) Due to an administrative meeting, the library will be closed today from 7:30-9:30am.  Please do not send any students to the library until 9:30 today.  

(2/2) Attention students:  Here is a math question: Among all three digit integers from 100 to 400, how many have exactly one digit that is an 8? If you like these kinds of problems, come to our Mathcounts meeting Wednesdays after school from 2:45 until 3:30.  Mathcounts students:  please remember that THIS SATURDAY 2-4 is the Mathcounts competition at the Altoona Campus.  Please report at 8:30 a.m. to the Hawthorn building. (2/2) Attention staff and students: this week the Friends of Rachel Club is sponsoring a Kindness week challenge. Today’s challenge is to smile and say “hi” to someone you don’t know. Tomorrow’s theme is words that can’t be taken back, so wear your shirt backwards. Tomorrow’s challenge is to think before you speak.
