Altoona won 15-6
In a fierce “cat fight” between the Altoona Lady Lions and Central Mountain Lady Wildcats, the Lady Lions clawed their way to a 1-0 victory. Maura Farabaugh pounced on her own rebound from a penalty kick at the 29’32” mark to net the game’s only goal. The Lady Lions demonstrated sharp instincts, working together with precise passing and solid teamwork to secure the win. This battle was all about the pride of the pack, as Altoona’s united front proved too strong for the Wildcats.
Good luck today to the Altoona Lady Lions as they host the Park Forest Lady Lions in a roaring rematch after school at Roosevelt Field.
The boys defeated Central Mt. yesterday by a score of 3-0. The boys fought strong and held on to give Quin Sipes a shutout. Caleb Cox got the hat trick on the day with all 3 goals! One of the goals was assisted by Mahmoud Ibrahim. The mountain lions play again today at Home against Park Forest. Come out to support our boys!
