Huddle Up: A blog about everything going on in the NFL
This week in the NFL the big story was Andrew Luck, the Colts rookie quarterback breaking a rookie record and throwing for 433 yards. His performance should make Colts fans forget about their past Quarterback Peyton Manning as he has led the team to a 5-3 start .
During the game, Luck also tied a rookie record of Manning’s by throwing for his third 300 yard game of the season that also tied Cam Newton’s record of three games last season.
In the record breaking game the Colts beat the Dolphins 23-20 in a very dramatic back and forth game that came down to the wire.
The game meant a lot more to the Colts as their coach Chuck Pagano has been fighting a treatable form of Leukemia. He is in his first session of chemotherapy and he should be done with his third session by Dec. 30 and be back on the sidelines.
It is really great that a team with a sick coach can go out and use their coach as an inspiration to play better and to win games.
