Meester also appears in Country Strong, The Roommate, That’s My Boy, and Oranges. Meester was born while her mother was serving time in prison. Laighton first appeared as a model for Ralph Lauren and her first acting role was on the show of Law & Order.

This quote was chosen this week to show that people with always judge. Leighton Meester is a successful actress and people still judge her. Meester has taught herself to not listen to what everyone else says and just listen to herself. Leighton Meester says that everyone should just step away from the hate and appreciate themselves. When people look in the mirror they aren’t really seeing themselves but every little imperfection pointed out by society. Society will never change on the way they look at  people but everyone can change the way they look at themselves.
