Sports: Freshman Boys & Girls

  • On Wednesday, April 23, the Norwin 9-10 Invitational took place at 3:30 p.m.

  • On Friday, April 25, there will be the Canon-MacMillan 9-10 Invitational at 4:00 p.m.

Varsity Boys & Girls

  • Penn Relays are being held until Saturday, April 26

Eighth Grade Boys & Girls

  • On Wednesday, April 23, they held a meet against Punxsutawney at 3:45 p.m.

  • On Thursday, April 24, the Mars MS Invitational will be held at 2:00 p.m.

Seventh Grade Boys & Girls

  • On Wednesday, April 23, hosted a meet against Punxsutawney at 3:45 p.m.

Music:

  • On Sunday, May 18th, Chamber, Jazz Band and Vocal Ensemble will be performing at the Penn State Altoona Arts Festival

  • On Saturday May 17th the Music department is going to New Jersey for adjudication and to Six Flags Afterwards

  • On April 29th  the Jr Varsity and Varsity Band are performing together for the first time in the Jr High School auditorium

  • There is a Chorus concert on May 1 at the High School

  •  There is a Chorus and Orchestra concert on May 13 at the Junior High

Clubs

  • TSA- Tim Dzurko and Rachel Manack are holding a fundraising night on April 27 at Texas Roadhouse. They named the event “Relay for Life” and all proceeds goes to the Blair Co. Chapter of the American Cancer Society as part of their TSA Community Service Project.
