The symphonic orchestra has six trumpets. They are: Christian Wilkins, Alyssa Detwiler, Becca Gallace, Tyler Rispoli, Gavin Williamson, and Michael Stumpf. These trumpets are ninth graders and this is their second year in symphonic orchestra. Photo by Becca Gallace

The Symphonic Orchestra had their last concert on May 20. This orchestra consists of ninth and eighth graders in both band and orchestra. The students participate in two concerts a year and they practice every Tuesday during eighth period. The orchestra had a dress rehearsal on May 19 to prepare for the concert. There were six groups that will play at the concert. The quartet, chamber, eighth grade, ninth grade, eighth and ninth grade and the symphonic orchestra are the six groups that are preparing for the concert. There is a total of eleven songs that the groups are preparing. These photos are of the symphonic dress rehearsal.

The wind instruments are waiting to get on stage while the string instruments are setting up chairs and stands. For the concert the wind instruments will play the last three songs of the night with the orchestra, but they will wait in the audience while the other groups play.
