“Coming back from holiday break is really hard for kids our age,” ninth grader Camille George said.
From Dec. 23 to Jan. 2 students were on holiday break.
Some students say that the fist day back from break is the most difficult.
Eighth grader Adalynn Cherry agrees with the struggle of winter break.
“The first day back from break was good because I got to see all of my friends again, but it was so stressful because benchmark week was starting,” Cherry said.
Some have projects due as well as benchmarks. Once students get back from break the work begins.
The second marking period is over on Jan.19 so students should start studying for the benchmarks and tests because they’re going to happen soon.
Teachers don’t put benchmarks on the same day, but the benchmarks usually happen in the same week.
Students will be able to complete the tasks of this week and they can look forward to more days off school due to teacher in-service.
