DIY: Fluffy Slime

May 12, 2017

This week’s DIY is a really fun one. It is DIY fluffy slime! That may sound a little strange, but it was a lot of fun to make. It is probably one of my favorite projects I have made all year. It is kind of a stress reliever as well!

Fluffy slime takes five minutes to make, and it leaves you with hours of fun. It does make somewhat of a mess, so make it somewhere you don’t mind there be shaving cream or glue on the table. Both my older sibling and my younger siblings really liked it and wanted me to make more! I found this at http://bit.ly/2r34Y1V.

Materials

-Elmer’s Glue

-Contact solution

-Shaving cream

-Food dye(optional)

-Large bowl

-Spatula

Measurements

For large portion:

-One liter OR quarter gallon of glue

-8-10 cups shaving cream

-1-12oz bottle contact solution

-Food dye(optional)

For smaller portion:

-1 cup glue

-3 cups shaving cream

-5+ tablespoons contact solution(things like humidity and types of shaving cream will affect how much is used)

-Food dye(optional)

Steps

Step One: Empty glue into a large bowl. Add food dye or glitter if you wish and stir it.

Step Two: Start adding the shaving cream. Keep adding more until you don’t feel like there is any “just glue” left.

Step Three: Next, add the contact solution. This makes the glue and shaving cream become a slime texture.

Step Four: Once the slime has no more liquid in it, start kneading it. Then decide whether or not to put more ingredients in it. It may need more contact solution.

Step Five: Now you have you’re own fluffy slime! Enjoy!
