When taking a good photo it is important to consider the lighting in your surroundings that will affect the image. Be sure to avoid large or distracting shadows in the image. All of the following images were taken at the ninth grade white boys’ basketball team against Allegheny on Feb. 10, 2017.

Stuck up! When warming up before the game a ball got stuck in between the backboard and the rim. Eighth grader Edwin Franklin was able to jump up and retrieve the ball. Photo by Paige Glasgow.
