“I’m Yours” by Jason Mraz
In ninth grade music class all of the students had to play “I’m Yours” by Jason Mras. This song is a very good song to listen to if you just want to have fun.
When I was little my mom and I used to sing this song together. We would slide the CD in to the car radio, and we would jam out. That song goes with my childhood. The song has meaning to me and others out there. I love the way the song feels with you listen to it, It gives me goosebumps. When you listen to it you can see the song in your mind. When I say “see” I mean, you can see the notes dances around. It’s such a mellow song to let loose and chill out. Other thing is it is so fun to play on the guitar too. The cords are easy to play and very easy to remember. This song is on the top right now.
Well you done me and you bet I felt it
I tried to be chill but you’re so hot that i melted
I fell right through the cracks now I’m trying to get back
Before the cool done run out I’ll be giving it my Bestest
And Nothing’s going to stop me but divine Intervention
I Reckon it’s again my turn to win some or learn some
But I won’t hesitate no more, no more
It cannot wait, I’m yours
Well open up your mind and see like me
Open up your plans and damn you’re free
Look in to your heart and you’ll find love love love
Listen to the music of the moment people, dance and sing
We’re just one big family
And it’s our God-forsaken right to be loved loved love love
so I won’t hesitate no more , no more
It cannot wait, I’m sure
There’s no need to complicate, our time is short
This is our fate, I’m yours
