On March 2, the boys were at it again. With them arriving to the middle of the season, the pressure is on. All of them are after one thing, and that would be obtaining the red plate. Surprisingly Davi Millsaps has the points lead. This is a shocker to not only me, but a large number of AMA supercross fans all over the nation. Before this season, Millsaps took the win in 2010. From 2010 until 2013, he did not gain a main event win.
In Atlanta, GA. the number seven, James Stewart, gained his very first main event win for the first time in the 2013 season. In St. Louis he led nine out of the 20 laps, but lost the lead to Monster Energy rider, Ryan Villopoto. Villopoto is currently 12 points under Millsaps.
In the 250 main event, top podium spot of the night, William Hahn led all 15 of his main event laps. All of riders plan on continuing the season perfecting their every move.
The next race is March 16 in Indianapolis, IN.
