Overgrowth is a fun Indie game that was created by four guys who wanted to make the best game possible. This game combines awesome physics, parkour and fighting. The game is still in Alpha stages and is still being updated.
This game has the best physics. The gravity is different for each animal the player can play as. The player has the choice of a bunny or wolf and different variations of the bunnies. Rabbits/bunnies are more flexible and are able to jump higher and move faster, but wolves are able to attack and kill anything with one good hit to the upper body. The physics in the game allow the player to jump from amazing heights and still live if the player land on the players feat.
The parkour in the game is amazing. The player is able to run on walls, do back flips jump incredible heights and climb up roofs. The game play with parkour reminds me a lot of Assassins Creed which I did review on. The running and climbing is very fluent and smooth. If the readers like parkour they have to buy this game.
Fighting in the game is very smooth. It is based off of Taekwondo, with its multiple counters and attacks. Just like the physics are different for each person, it is the same way with fighting. Bunnies are quick attacks and do not hit as hard as the slower moving wolf who can kill anyone with one hit. It is the equivalent to a rabbit with long range throwing knives or up close with a one hit bastard sword. Even then there is a 50/50 chance that the wolf can still win.
This fun game is the ultimate parkour fighting type. I would recommend it to anyone and it enjoy playing this game almost daily. I give this game a 5 out of 5 stars. While it is still in alpha the creators can release it now and it will still be the perfect game for only $30
