Strangest Things
March 23, 2018
On this blog, I will be talking about an episode of the Netflix series, Stranger Things, each week, including things such as, what I think will happen, as well as my thoughts on the characters and the events that happened.
Welcome back to Stranger Things! This week we are starting to talk about season two of Stranger Things. We are starting off with episode one of season two. I was so excited when it came out, and I really liked the first episode a lot.
The episode starts off with a group of criminals running from the police. When I first saw this part, I was a little confused. Then, one of the criminals uses mind powers to get away from the police, like Eleven. They are slightly different that Eleven’s, but you can tell they are related in some way. She then reveals that she has a tattoo on her arm also like Eleven. This part was so cool because I had no idea that there were more people like Eleven.
Then, Mike, Dustin, Will and Lucas are at the local arcade. They are trying to get the high score on one of the games there. This part was really nice, because all the boys were back together like normal. Suddenly, Will has a vision where he goes back to the Upside Down. This part was really weird, and it reminded me of the sickness called PTSD.
Meanwhile, Hopper is investigating a field where all the pumpkins have been destroyed. They are covered in a black film and they are rotting very fast. This was super odd because it would be really hard to destroy a whole pumpkin patch.
The next day, the boys are at school and notice a new girl. They think that she is really pretty and spy on her during recess. This was really cute. They realize that she is the person they have been seeing at the arcade. She also beat all of their high scores. It’s really cute that they like her and follow her around.
The next day Nancy and Steve go over to Barb’s house to have dinner with her parents. They are still so worried about Barb, and they are all wondering where she is. I am also still wondering where she is and if they will find her.
While this is happening, Mike is packing away some of his old toys and decides to call Eleven on his radio. She has been gone since she went into the Upside Down. Mike clearly misses her a lot that it is so sad that they are still separated almost a year later.
After Hopper is done at the fields, he goes into the woods and walks for a long time. I was wondering where he was going. He then comes up to a trip wire and carefully steps over. I was thinking that this was really weird. He then goes up to an abandoned looking shack and does a strange knock at the door. This part was even weirder. Then the door opens and out comes Eleven. I was so shocked when Eleven opened the door because I had no idea where she was. They then eat dinner together, and the episode is over.
This episode was so good, and I loved how it answered a lot of my questions from last season. I predict they are going to try and find Barb soon, and Will’s PTSD is going to get worse.
Tune in next week to hear about season two, episode two!
