Ariana Grande continues to inspire many
Grammy award winner for “Best Pop Vocal Album,” Ariana Grande continues to inspire millions of people all across the world after just releasing her new album, “Thank U, Next.” Ariana’s song “7 Rings” has held the top spot of the billboard for the past three weeks and has around 55,614,530 monthly listeners on Spotify .
On June 26, 1993, a child with a lot of talent was born in Boca Raton, Florida. Ariana started her career on Broadway before she went on to try acting and landed a main role on the “Teen Nick” show called “Victorious.” After the show ended in 2013, Ariana went on to pursue her singing career.
Ariana has been hit with a lot of tough challenges in life and has dealt with them in a way that is quite inspiring. For example, Ariana was performing a concert in Manchester, England when a terrorist bombed the event leaving 22 dead. Two weeks later Ariana held a benefit concert in Manchester where she raised $2.6million for the families that were impacted by the bombing.
Ariana also had to deal with losing her ex-boyfriend Mac Miller to addiction and going through some tough break-ups with other boyfriends. Through music she teaches many girls that a man isn’t what makes a woman. Her song “Thank U, Next” shows how although being in love is wonderful, plans sometimes change and breakups aren’t the end of the world. She shows how to look at bad situations from a better perspective and grow from them.
I personally love her new album “Thank U, Next”, which includes 12 songs. My favorite song is definitely “Needy” because as a teenage girl it is pretty relatable. In the song she sings “Lately I’ve been on a rollercoaster, tryna get ahold of my emotions,” which most teenagers are emotional and are faced with decisions that may not be the easy to make. Most of Ariana’s albums are about being in love, but her new album is more about self love and appreciation. With all the expectations the world puts on people, it is great how many of Ariana songs send more of a message to ignore these expectations and live life how you want to. With everything Ariana has done throughout her life, her music continues to be inspiring and joyful.
