School closed for two more weeks
Governor Tom Wolf has ordered that all schools K-12 in Pennsylvania remain closed for another two weeks. This comes because of the spread of coronavirus in PA. He made the announcement Monday afternoon.
“Most of us have not experienced a disruption in daily life of this type ever before. Our commonwealth has not experienced a disruption of this magnitude in its supply chain since at least the Civil War. We’ll not come out of this unscathed, but if we work together, we can prevent more damage to our economy, more damage to our people, and to our way of life,” Governor Wolf said.
Schools have been closed since March 16. School will not resume until April 6 at the least. More will be officially announced from the school district at a later time.
