News brief: Lollipop Sale!
Sweet snacks that students can buy in school!
Friday, Feb. 11 the positive behavioral interventions and supports committee AKA PBIS is throwing a lollipop sale.
Students can purchase these sweet treats in the holding areas after security checks or outside of the grade level offices in the morning! All lollipops cost 50 cents each.
All money earned from lollipop sales goes towards the eBucks prize baskets for each marking period, frozen treats and helps out with Recess Day in the spring.
The lollipops flavors vary. Some flavors are blue raspberry, cherry, sour apple, grape and bubble gum.
I was curious about a teacher and PBIS committee member’s opinion on the lollipop sales at school.
“Lollipop sales are awesome! The lollipops are affordable, they help us raise money to do fun events at school and the students can enjoy their lollipops in class,” said sixth grade teacher Annetta Conway.
More lollipops sales are upcoming in the future if you can’t get one this time!
