News Brief: Winter Choral Concert
Baylin Smith said, “My favorite part of chorus is how many different languages we learn in the songs we sing. I also love the people I meet and can become friends with!”
Get into the holiday spirit by joining our Vocal Ensemble along with the seventh and eighth grade chorus on Friday, Dec. 2, as they present their magical winter concert! The concert will be starting at 7 p.m. in the Altoona Area High School Auditorium. Tickets are $3 and will be available at the door the night of the concert.
Eighth grade chorus member Baylin Smith will be performing in the concert!
Smith said, “I love the concerts because they can be super expressive! I also love getting to do solos!”
She has been participating in chorus since sixth grade and plans on continuing throughout high school.
“I was inspired to do chorus because of my love for music. I’ve always wanted to sing a lot, and I have been attached to music ever since I heard it was a thing,” said Smith.
Coming out to the winter concert is a great way to show your support for these students! Also, you can get into the holiday spirit with the festive songs they will be performing!
