News brief: Eighth grade boys basketball rival game
Eighth grade basketball players Justin Pfeffer, Lucas Gority, Eliott McCloskey, Brody Brazile and Judah Curry stand together.
The eighth grade boys basketball white team will battle Hollidaysburg on Tuesday, Jan. 24 at the junior high at 3:30 p.m.
The boys intend to put forth their best effort to win as they lost last time they played Hollidaysburg.
“I think that we can pull through this game because our team has made nothing but progress since the last time we played them,” said eighth grader Brody Brazile.
The team has been improving with help from their new coach.
Brazile said, “He motivates us to play better.”
