News Brief- First White Baseball game against Portage

Getting better every day. The White team had a very successful season last year. They hoped to build off the skills that they already had. "We were practicing the small skills that we had last year," said Aiden Cooney.

Getting better every day. The White team had a very successful season last year. They hoped to build off the skills that they already had. “We were practicing the small skills that we had last year,” said Aiden Cooney.

The eighth grade white baseball team will be battling in their first game against Portage on Thursday, March 23.

The game is a home game and will be starting at 4 p.m.

The team has done a lot to prepare for the game and is hoping to win.

“We practice every day and have done a lot of different drills. I think we are going to win,” said eighth grade player Aiden Cooney.

The team has many different strengths that will help them out-play Portage.

“I think one of our best strengths is our pitching. We have a few good pitchers,” said Cooney.
