9/7/23-9/18/23: Attention anyone interested in joining Book Club. We are having our first organizational meeting on Thursday, September 14 from 2:45-3:15 to discuss this year’s plans. If you like to read, or even if you don’t like to read, but like to talk about characters, enjoy the camaraderie of others, or enjoy the occasional snack, then join us next Thursday at 2:45. We will meet in Mrs. Loucks’s conference room on the 4th floor – room 434. Please be sure to have a ride here promptly at 3:15 to pick you up. Let’s get together to read some books!
9/8-9/14: The AAJHS Speech League will be holding an informative meeting on Thursday, September 14th after school in Mrs. Palilla’s room (ROOM 410) until 3:30 P.M. If you are looking to improve your public speaking skills and have fun while doing it, then this might be the club for you! Meet some new people while becoming more confident in your ability to express yourself clearly. Effective communication will help you in all areas of life – both in and out of school – so come and check it out. We hope to see you there!
9/13/23: The volleyball team beat Central Mountain on Tuesday, winning the A game in 3 sets and winning the B game in 2 sets. Sarah Glenny led with 14 service points in the A game. Mayah Bower and Addison Mitchell each added 8 service points. Morgon Thompson led with 11 service points in the B game.
