1, 2, 3! This week our school is hosting a wrestling match! Our wrestlers are pumped to get to wrestle during the school day!
On Dec. 21 the wrestling team will host Williamsport in a match at 1 p.m. during the school day.
The wrestlers are very excited to compete during the school day.
Eighth grade wrestler Sarah Glenny said, “Coach Barr is an excellent coach, he pushes you, encourages you to work, he is very disciplined and he helps us train like a mad man!”
Coach Barr really pushes his athletes to their limits in order to make them the best they can be.
Glenny said, “I think picturing your opponent and knowing you have worked harder than them. Also, knowing Jesus gives me the strength to do all I can do.”
Glenny is so excited to get up on the mat and wrestle!

I hope they had fun at the match. It sounds like fun. Plus, they got to leave school in the middle of the day!
