The Lego Club will be having its annual meeting Wednesday, March 6th from 2:45-3:30 in the library. Sign up in the library if you’d like to attend. Please be sure to have your ride here by 3:30.
Attention 8th grade students! Are you interested in a summer job? Representatives from DelGrosso’s Amusement park will be visiting during lunch on Monday March 4th. This is a great way to make some money and have fun at the same time!
On Thursday, Friends of Rachel members will collect kindness strips from 2:15-2:30. Please try to fill out at least one strip with an act of kindness that has been done for you or that you have done. FOR members who are collectors please see Ms Dodge this week.

The Altoona Area Junior High School Drama Club is proud to present Shrek the Musical, Jr. Public performances are scheduled for 7:00 P.M. on Thursday, March 7th and Friday March 8th with a matinee show at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, March 9th, 2024. All performances will take place in the Altoona Area Junior High School Auditorium.
Nasty will be nice and Altoona will be ogre-the-moon when AAJHS students (and a few familiar teachers!), along with special guests from the Juniata Elementary Drama Club, present their production of Shrek The Musical Jr. This family-friendly musical comedy follows the adventures of an ogre named Shrek who sets off on a quest to save a princess from a dragon. However, it turns out that in order to ultimately succeed, Shrek must battle an even bigger obstacle – learning how to believe in himself and open his heart to others.
With over 70 actors and almost 20 crew members, Shrek the Musical, Jr. is sure to be entertaining and fun for everyone!
General admission tickets will only be on sale at the door and will cost $8 for adults and $5 for students. Doors open approximately 1/2 hour before each show.
