The Lady Lions pounced on the Lady Bison with a roaring 5-1 victory, showing their predator instincts from the very first whistle. The Lions’ offense prowled through the Bison defense, sinking their claws into the game with swift, precise attacks. Meanwhile, the Bison struggled to stampede, their attempts to break free quickly trampled by the Lions’ unyielding defense. Layla McCarter (#12) led the charge with a fierce hat trick, adding an assist to her tally, as she prowled through the Bison defense. Maura Farabaugh (#9) followed close behind, striking twice and setting up two additional goals. Natalie Bumbarger (#4) and Leah Connolly (#14) played the perfect supporting roles, each adding assists that kept the Lions in control. Together, they showed teamwork worthy of the savannah’s finest hunters, leaving the Bison no chance to escape the Lions’ clutches. The Lady Lions are now 2-1-1 and look to overpower their scaled foes as they travel to Central this afternoon to battle the Lady Dragons.
