In a thrilling match between the Altoona Lady Lions and the DuBois Lady Beavers, the two teams battled to a 2-2 draw. The action kicked off fast as Layla McCarter connected with Elsie Behe for a goal just five minutes into the game. But DuBois responded quickly with a shot off the crossbar to level the score at 1-1. As halftime approached, Altoona reclaimed the lead when Katie Beck assisted Layla McCarter, making it 2-1. With under 10 minutes to go, DuBois found the equalizer, tying the game at 2-2. Despite the back-and-forth, the Lady Lions showcased impressive passing and teamwork throughout, leaving it all on the field in a hard-fought battle. The Ladies are 9-1-3 on the season and will take on Hollidaysburg this Thursday in the Battle for Blair County. Good luck, girls!
