The boys and girls Junior High cross-country teams traveled to Maplecrest Golf Course in Portage on Wednesday to take on Central Cambria.
The Girls were paced by Emma Etters and Riya Potts, who took 1-2 in the race.
The boys were led by Leland Rivera and Gavin Pyeatt.

Yesterday the 7th Grade Football team tackled their rival the Hollidaysburg Golden Tigers in a total team effort at Roosevelt field.
Colt Sipes ran 31 yards to kick off the scoring.
Taden Pincherri broke tackles on his way to a 60 yard TD run.
Josiah Ingram scored an 18 yard TD as time expired at the end of the half. But the Mt Lions weren’t done yet.
Trae Triplin and Nysir Shields led Altoona’s special teams play. Trae had a 65 yard punt return for a Touchdown and Nysir took the opening kickoff of the 2nd half to the House for a score.
Drew Mitchell got in on the scoring with a 12 yard TD run and Nathan Wade closed out the scoring with an impressive 83 yard Touchdown run.
Wyatt Harzbecker had a nice Interception on defense and Lukas Bare, Josiah Graham, and Arian Robert’s all had big tackles to lead the Mt Lion Defense to a shutout.
When it was all over Altoona won by a score of 49-0 and improved to 5-0 on the season. Great job Team!
