Hello, I'm Tegan Stewart. I am part of the news writing staff for Livewire. I've lived in Altoona my entire life. I really like listening to music, drawing, photography and swimming. I'm practicing piano, and I really enjoy it. In school, my favorite subjects are science and American cultures. I aspire to leave Altoona and go to university to become a mechanical engineer. I'm really glad to have gotten the opportunity to join the Livewire staff!

Hi! My name is Jaxon Merrill and I enjoy playing hockey and going hunting. I play for the Keystone Wild at Pegula Ice Arena in State College. In school, my favorite subject is math. I hope to pursue news writing through my academic and professional career.

Hey! My name is Alonna Pfahler. I am an eighth grade reporter here for Livewire. I look forward to working with the news writing staff this year and gaining experience. Outside of school, I like playing softball, reading, listening to music and sleeping. I love writing mostly poetry but also other forms. I also really enjoy taking photos. I joined the news writing staff because I love writing and taking photos.

My name is Hannah Doehrer. I'm in eighth grade, and I just started getting into news writing this year. I always loved creative writing and thought writing for news would be fun, so this is great. My hobbies usually include singing, reading, playing volleyball and drawing. I'm a part of the chorus and drama club here at the school and have been since I came to this school in sixth grade.

Hi, my name is Katie Beck, and I am a writer for Livewire. I am a very active person, and I like to play a lot of sports. I play soccer for the school and also for a club. I also play softball and basketball for school, and I also like to travel for these sports too. My favorite holiday is Christmas, but my favorite season is summer. I love to swim, ride four wheelers and hangout with my friends. I have a golden retriever, and his name is Benny. He is about 4 years old and is really big. I have three other siblings and two of them are younger than me and on is older than me. That is everything about me.

Hi, my name is Ethan Shoeman, and I'm a reporter for Livewire. Outside of school, I like to play video games, guitar and walk in the woods. I also like to listen to music and play with my dog! The things you will get from me this year are sports scores, breaking news and silly stories from around our school. :)

Hi, I'm Dominic Sparacino, I like to play trumpet, sing in chorus and vocal ensemble. I have also featured in many school plays, and I play soccer for the school. I like to watch sports and hope to go to Penn State when I grow up. I am excited to be in the news writing staff, and I am hopeful for a great year!

Some of my favorite things are hanging out with my friends, shopping, being by the water, visiting new places, summer and Christmas time. I also love to take pictures because they make good memories.

Hi! My name is Linzi Nusom, and I am an eighth grade reporter for Livewire. I am looking forward to a year of news writing while also gaining experience for the years to come. I enjoy going on vacations, hanging out with my friends, shopping and taking pictures. Although I love to live in the present, taking pictures is a great way to capture the moment and is one of my favorite things to do. Ever since I was younger I can remember loving writing. Writing has always stuck out to me in school because you have total control and can use it as a true way to express yourself. I am very excited for a year full of news writing and being able to work with new people while doing something I love!

Mine are Halloween and Scream, Halloween is good if you want something to get your skin crawling and Scream is good if you want a teenage-drama type movie (Billy Loomis was the best in my opinion!)

a lot of people said nightmare before Christmas, and I have to agree. It’s really good. clay-mation and stop motion animation will always impress me. Tim Burton has so many good movies.

I love Halloween movies. One of my favorites is Beetlejuice. idk if it’s considered a Halloween movie, but everyone watches it at Halloween time.

I love Beetlejuice too! But I personally love Hocus Pocus better because of the song and the story being put together so well! It’s just an all time classic!
