Students: Did you know it is almost the end of the first marking period? That means you have one week until report cards go home. Do you have missing assignments? Are you close to the next higher letter grade? If so, get busy!
Remember, students with an average of 90% or better earn the Honor Roll distinction. Make an academic achievement goal for this year and work towards that goal every day!
The boys played their final game of the home season Friday against the Little Lions from Mt. Nittany. After a tough fought battle, the game ended in a tie. This concluded the season on a great note, tying Mt. Nittany 0-0. The boys finished their season with a record of 6-7-4.
There will be a boys basketball open gym tonight from 630-8 for all 7th and 8th grade boys not participating in a fall sport.
Congratulations to our Lady Lion 8th-grade runners on an awesome race this past Saturday at the Lock Haven University Middle School Cross Country Championships. The team finished 5th out of 32 represented teams.
Our very own Emma Etters placed 2nd overall, with Raya Potts medaling 16th to make it to the top 25 distinguished runners.
Shoutouts also go out to Evangeline Broadrick, Rowen Resig, Gabby Gutshall, and Kaelyn Murtiff, who all set personal records.
Join us at Logan Elementary for their final race of the season this Monday. They’re running for Cancer Awareness and raising funds for the American Association for Cancer Research. Let’s show our support!

Attention Cast & Crew of the AAJHS Drama Club’s production of “The Wizard of Oz”— Please remember that Tuesday, October 22nd is our program Picture Day. ALL Cast & Crew of the show should report to the auditorium right after school and wear a P\plain white shirt. Students not involved in the rehearsal on Tuesday will be dismissed as soon as their picture is taken.
