Eighth grade students went to the library to do a project about what was in Lincoln's Pockets. They got the photos you see in this gallery and had to guess what they thought the items were.

Skillfully helpful. Shown here is the Greater Altoona Career and Technology Center. This school lets kids in high school come over for half a day to learn skills that can let them come out of school and join the work force, or continue on to post-secondary school. baking and pastry arts instructor, Chef Pamela Kenawell, said, "CTCs are beneficial to students because it gives them hands-on learning and a step ahead for their futures in the trades."

Ding, dong! The Cathedral towers over Altoona. The sight is even more scenic in the snow. College freshman Mira Sparacino said, "I like how the dome is always prominent no matter what angle you look at it from."

Absolutely stunning. Just east of Punta Cana, there is the Royalton Resort on the beach. The Royalton Resort gives an excellent location for a relaxing vacation. "I had so much fun," said Hailee Merrill.

Hi, I'm Dominic Sparacino, I like to play trumpet, sing in chorus and vocal ensemble. I have also featured in many school plays, and I play soccer for the school. I like to watch sports and hope to go to Penn State when I grow up. I am excited to be in the news writing staff, and I am hopeful for a great year!
