Seeing red! Eighth grade English teacher Aaron Broman participates in the first day of Homelessness Awareness Week by wearing red to show awareness for the millions of homeless people in not only the United States but worldwide.

Food Labs - Cheese Taste Test!
All black. Seventh grade teachers Maggie Lewis and Julie Behe dress in all black for the first day of the dress down week. Lewis and Behe went all out. "Mrs. Lewis is the best. I am so glad I'm getting my picture with her!" Behe said.

Speedy service! Estep takes the pretzel out of the warmer. He prepared to go deliver it. "I enjoy cooking in general, but I enjoy making sure the orders are corrected and then delivering them to the teachers and principals," said Estep.
Lunch Bunch
Say cheese! Eighth graders Hailey Hamilton and Charolette White dress up in their Halloween costumes at school. Hamilton decorates her face in beautiful deer makeup with White staying true to her name and dressing in an all white angel costume.
Red Ribbon Week!
Pink out! Eighth grade cheerleaders Nina Dunio and Kendyl Carney are ready for the football game wearing their pink bows and T-Shirts. Other cheerleaders showed their spirit by also wearing their bows and T-shirts to school.
Pink in October
Boo! This book is the perfect representation of Halloween. From carving pumpkins, to decorating your homes and even dressing up and getting candy! Eighth grader, Henrik Hosgood said," This book really hits all of the things to do every Halloween."

Hey! My name is Alonna Pfahler. I am an eighth grade reporter here for Livewire. I look forward to working with the news writing staff this year and gaining experience. Outside of school, I like playing softball, reading, listening to music and sleeping. I love writing mostly poetry but also other forms. I also really enjoy taking photos.
