Eighth grader Lila Eamigh is a hard working multitasking student.
Eamigh is a part of the drama club. She has been in five different shows including, “The Legend Of Sleepy Hollow,” “Willy Wonka & The Chocolate Factory,” “Emperor’s New Clothes,” “Shrek” and “The Wizard Of Oz.”
Eamigh said her favorite thing about being a part of the drama club is getting to meet new people and make new friends.
But she doesn’t just perform drama for the school. She has also performed in four different plays at the Mishler Theater in Altoona including “Matilda,” “Oliver,” “Aladdin Jr” and “Rainbow Fish.”
Eamigh’s favorite aspect about being in shows at the Mishler is the opportunities she gets and getting to perform with others who have more experience and have made it farther in their acting careers.
Eamigh said there are differences between being in shows for school and being in shows at the Mishler.
“Performing in shows at the Mishler is more time consuming compared to shows for school,” said Eamigh.
She also says while doing plays for the Mishler, she has more people to be inspired by, where at school plays, she inspires others.
And drama is not the only hobby for Eamigh. She also dances!
Even when performing and practices begin to be a lot, Eamigh still manages to find a good balance between doing the things she loves.
“I really recommend acting and if you have never done it before but your interested in it, go for it because you should always follow your dreams,” said Eamigh.
