Sixth grader Darren Focht might be only a student in school, but is a party animal outside playing the Mascot Mixer.
The Mascot mixer is a character Focht made where he dresses as a Mascot at not just at birthday parties but any party!
If bringing fun and joy as a Mascot wasn’t already great, he also brings the music performing as the DJ!
Focht has been DJing for about a year and a half now. DJing or tech is something Focht has always enjoyed with it also being one of the reasons he started being the Mascot Mixer.
“I had two things I really liked which were Tech and Mascots, so I combined the two together and made the Mascot Mixer,” said Focht.
Focht also uses two elements of the Mascot Mixer of tech and performing in theater!
He’s performed numerous shows for school and outside, mainly ACT. He’s worked with tech for many shows as well with most recently him working with mics for, “The Wizard Of Oz.”
