Now, let’s get caught up on some junior high girls basketball! The AAJHS Lady Lions have started out their seasons strong. Both teams went on the road to Mifflin County yesterday. 7th grade lost a battle 27-24 and 8th grade won 46-3. The 7th grade team is dominating with a record of 5-1! The 8th grade team has also started out strong with a record of 11-1!
Students,
Did you know the end of the second marking period is next/this week? That means you only have a few days to go. Do you have any missing assignments? Are you close to the next higher letter grade? If so, get busy and work hard to finish strong.
Remember, students with an average of 90% or better earn the Honor Roll distinction. Also, at the end of the year, A-pins are awarded to students who have an average of 86% or better in core subjects, and an average of 81% or better in elective classes.
Make an academic achievement goal for yourself and work towards that goal every day!
