Everyone has a special talent in them. It could be ice skating, being good at a sport or even a guitar player. Eighth grader Ethan Shoeman is a guitar player who has been playing for three years.
Shoeman used to take guitar lessons, but now he just practices on his own. Shoeman said that he wanted to get to know how to play guitar by himself.
“I used to take normal lessons, but I quit and decided to play guitar and discover everything on my own,” Shoeman said.
Shoeman likes to play by guitar by himself.
“When I make a mistake, I can stop when I need to and fix that mistake then resume my practice,” Shoeman said.
Shoeman doesn’t care what type of guitar he uses. But there are different guitars for different use.
“Each guitar has different aspects of them. Electric guitars are for higher gain music, but you can always adjust the sound of the guitar by tuning it by buying pedals and stuff like that,” Shoeman said
Guitarists like shoeman have favorite types of music. He likes metal and listens to Slipknot.
“But I like to keep it to myself because I don’t know anyone else who likes it either,” said Shoeman.
He can play a whole set of a concert like Slipknot in London 2002.
His favorite song is, “My Plague” by Slipknot.
“I have been playing guitar for 3 years now,” said Shoeman.
Guitarists have favorite guitars. Shoeman’s is a “2001 BC Rich Dean Warlock.”
Shoeman says it’s because my favorite guitarist uses it. He really wants it too!
