The time has come and it is finally time for the Hershey Kisses sale!
This year eight grade American cultures teacher Makayla Clemons is in charge of it.
“We use the money that is raised for student of the month prizes and other student rewards throughout the year,” said Clemons.
Clemons’s favorite thing about making the bags is getting the students involved and seeing how the kids always want to help and how the students have fun helping.
“The bags are not hard to make. You simply count out 10 Hershey Kisses and place them in a bag and zip them up. Once we get all of the orders, we will add labels to the bags and sort them,” said Clemons.
Clemons has never ran out of Hershey Kisses before. She knows how many bags she has, and she makes sure not to sell more than what she has. Also, this is Clemons first year of being in charge of the sale. She took over for another teacher when they retired last year.
“If there are ever any suggestions as to things students would like to see sold, I would be happy to take suggestions and see what I can do. I like to change it up and give the students variety,” said Clemons.
This sale is always fun to have and it is an important sale because it helps the school financially. Also, it is a perfect time to buy something for your crush.
