From the early age of 8, eight grader Carson Despot has been racing around on bicycles and dirt bikes.
One of Despot’s biggest hobbies is motocross, a sport that involves daringly driving around on dirt bikes over roads and jumps. His current bike is a CRF 250 R.
While he doesn’t compete, he rides around Breezwood race track and ramey ro just ride around on his motorcycle having a blast.
“I do it for the thrill and adrenaline,” says Despot.
Another one of his hobbies is BMX. He rides around with his friends doing sick tricks in his neighborhood.
A BMX bike is a special kind of bicycle that is tuned for tricks. Something special about it is the handlebars are straight, and unlke a regular bike, you don’t sit down on a BMX too often.
Doing stunts is one of Despot’s biggest passions.
“My best trick is probably doing a 360,” says Despot.
Although motocross is an uncommon sport, it doesn’t make it any less enjoyable.
