An important part of all sports is sportsmanship.
Three sixth grade students were chosen by their coaches and referees to receive an award for their showing of sportsmanship, positive attitude and respect towards other players on their basketball team.
These students include Micah Farabaugh, Jack Roland and Braeson McGinnis. They all say that they weren’t expecting to win this award.
Roland says that he thinks more of his teammates would be able to win this too, if they put in the hard work and show the good sportsmanship.
