Everything that has to do with sports- Jacoby Ellsbury
Baseball! That’s this week’s topic. Jacoby Ellsbury plays for the New York Yankees. He was traded to the Yankees by the Red Sox before the 2014 baseball season. His position is center field and his number is 22.
Ellsbury has played in the MLB for seven years. He was born on September 11, 1983 in Madras, Oregon. He is 30 years old. He went to college at Oregon State.
He is a good player. He can steal bases as much as he can hit the ball. Not only is he a good batter, but he is a good fielder. He is fast, so he can reach long fly balls and track down line drives.
Ellsbury is an elite center fielder, and is at the peak of his game. He may be 30 years old, but he is athletic and strong. He stole 52 bases in his 2013 baseball season with the Red Sox. He also had nine home runs.
