"I'm so glad to have this opportunity. There can be struggles sometimes, so you just have to make sure to be extra tough," Pfahler said.

Eighth grade violin player Riley Miller said, "The higher the grade is, the more we play eighth notes and sixteenth notes, so it gets faster and faster."

Skillfully helpful. Shown here is the Greater Altoona Career and Technology Center. This school lets kids in high school come over for half a day to learn skills that can let them come out of school and join the work force, or continue on to post-secondary school. baking and pastry arts instructor, Chef Pamela Kenawell, said, "CTCs are beneficial to students because it gives them hands-on learning and a step ahead for their futures in the trades."
