AAHS Gymnastics Meet Jan. 5, 2017

Got chalk? Ninth grader Lexi Whysong prepares for her bar routine by putting chalk on her hands. Chalk is used on bars to allow the gymnast to get a better grip on the equipment and is typically used for the uneven bars.
Freshman Lexi Whysong performs giants on the uneven bars. A giant is when the gymnast goes into a handstand while rotating 360 degrees around the bar.
