“I don’t like the idea of moving the freshmen. I think that if they wanted to do this change, they should have done it when they first made the school, not now.” Said Lindsey Hallinan, ninth grader.

Lindsey Hallinan was asked several questions about her season on the basketball team as a lady lion.

Q: How long have you been playing basketball?

A: “ I have been playing basketball since first grade in a rec league. In fourth grade I started playing official basketball for AAU and my school team,” Lindsey Hallinan said.

 

Q: What position do you play?

A: “ I play post player,” Hallinan said.

 

Q: What is your favorite college basketball team?

A: “ I really like Notre Dame because I’ve liked them since I was a little girl,” Hallinan said.

 

Q: Who is your favorite basketball player?

A: “Ally Williams who plays for St. Francis. I like her because she lived in my town and attended are very small private school and she becoming a very well known player,” Hallinan said.

 

Q: What is your special jersey number?

A: “ My number is 14 because of Troy Bolton also known as Zac Efron who played basketball in the movie High School Musical and his number was 14,” Hallinan said.

 

Q: What is your favorite warm-up drill?

A: “ St. Francis shooting drill. It helps me prepare for outside shots that I make during the game,” Hallinan said.

 

Q: What is your favorite snack to eat during breaks at tournaments?

A: “  I hate oranges, but they have always helped me play better because they help build energy faster,” Hallinan said.
