Burgers and fries are the staple of America. Americans run on fast food, and Americans are picky eaters. With all of the different nationalities, everyone has a different preference. All over the world, fast food companies have taken over the way the world eats. The overall best burger joint out there is Five Guys.
Unless you live under a rock, you have at least heard of Five Guys. The burger joint has received many awards since they first opened. The company is proud too. When walking into the clean restaurant with a red and white checker theme, all over the walls are their awards and reviews on Five Guys. Their food is typical American barbecue food.
The menu seems to be endless. People can get anything on the burger. If someone wants two patties, they can have two patties, if someone wants one patty they can have one. The toppings for burgers are endless. Bacon, lettuce, tomato, mayo, onions, pickles and so much more. You name it they have it.
Their fries are out of this world too. Don’t even get me started on the amount they give you. One small fry can feed four people! They serve two types of fries: Kasion and normal. What makes the restaurant even more unique is they provide balsamic vinegar for those who like it on their fries.
They also serve hot dogs. With the hot dogs, you can also get anything you want on top. The possibilities are endless. Five Guys also has free peanuts to snack on while you wait for your meal.
Altoona does have a Five Guys. The food is just as amazing as anywhere else. The staff is incredibly nice and friendly. They put out food fast and have fun while doing it. Some days, the staff will be singing a song together while they flip burgers. They are sure to greet customers when they walk in and say good-bye when they leave. The staff makes customers feel welcome. The staff also does a great job at keeping the place clean. The bathrooms are never a mess and tables are kept clean.
Five Guy have the best small burgers, big burgers, and a hot dogs. All which are always cooked just right and tasted amazing. The toppings are fresh and they provide customers with exactly what they want. I would give the Altoona Five Guys a 9/10. Dress warm as it was very cold the day I visited.
