Alyson Adams was asked several questions about being a multi-athlete. Alyson not only is a volleyball player, but she is also a part of the high school softball team. She always has a positive attitude and always shows great sportsmanship.

Q: What sports do you play?

A: “ I play volleyball and softball,” Alyson Adams said.

Q: What is your favorite thing about volleyball and softball?

A: “ I am able to play something I love with my friends,” Adams said.

Q: Who do you think your biggest rival is and why?

A: “ Hollidaysburg and Bishop Guilfoyle because they are cross town rivals and for as long as I’ve known, they have always been our rival,” Adams said.

Q: Why is good and bad to have rivals?

A: “Rivals are a good thing because it makes me want to work harder and improve my skills. Rivals are also bad because it’s hard playing against friends on the opposite team when the goal is to beat them,” Adams said.

Q: How long have you been playing volleyball and softball?

A: “ I have been playing volleyball since I was 10 and I have been playing softball since I was 6,” Adams said.

Q: Who do you look up and why?

A: “ I look up to my brothers because I used to play with them when I was little and they encourage me in everything that I do,” Adams said.

Q: What is your favorite thing to bring to tournaments?

A: “ I love to bring all sorts of foods and drinks. I like bringing nacho cheese sunflower seeds, pretzels, candy and my favorite drink of all time Gatorade,” Adams said.
