Healthy recipes for students on the go!

Let’s start this summer out with a bang with this festive drink! This is perfect for any summer day by the pool, a party or even a social gathering. This will also steer anyone away from the pesky but delicious snow cones from the neighborhood “Snow Cone Man.” Have an awesome summer!

Introducing the last recipe for “Healthy Recipes for Students on the Go,” the Pineapple Orange Creamsicle Smoothie! This recipe incorporates two my favorite fruits, and  this would be very refreshing and appealing in the hot Summer months! Check out, http://www.yummly.com/recipes/frozen-drinks-orange-juice for more frozen orange drink recipes like this one!

Let’s Begin, Ingredients:
2 cups of ice
1 cup of non fat Greek yogurt
8 ounces of pineapple (Use any form, I use the pineapple chucks in a can drained.)
2 tbsps honey
⅓ cup of frozen orange concentrate (thawed)
1 tsp of vanilla extract
orange slices

Directions:
This recipe makes four and takes about fifteen minutes to prepare! Prepare all of the ingredients and lay them on a table. Take out the blender. Blend all of the first 6 ingredients until evenly distributed. Take out four glasses and pour the mixture evenly into those cups. Place the orange slices as a garnish, for a more appealing look. Enjoy!

Extra:
Thanks to everyone who commented and thought this blog was helpful! Have an awesome summer!
