Visiting the beautiful underworld of the ocean is something I would want to do before I die. There are so many places to scuba dive all over the world but the best local place in the United States would be in Florida.

The Florida Keys is  known as one of the top diving destinations in the world.  With near-perfect weather conditions year around. Divers often find 50 or more feet of visibility, comfortable water temperatures and little to no current. Divers would have the perfect scuba dive experiment.

Florida Keys lets divers scuba dive in the only living-coral barrier reef in the United States. They will see rainbow colored tropical fish such as the Queen Angelfish, Midnight Parrotfish and Scrawled Filefish are plentiful. Macro enthusiasts will love the juvenile Trunkfish and juvenile Spotted Drums, and so many other marine life as sea turtles, stingrays and sharks that are often seen on Islamorada dives.

The boat ride to the dive site takes usually about 20 minutes. During the 20 minutes your instructor will brief participants on everything they need to know. The scuba diving groups won’t  be any bigger then 5 or 6 people. Divers won’t have to deal with too many people.

Scuba diving would be great to do as a family. It’s great for all ages whether young or old.
