Four corners! In four corner castle ball there is one castle set up in each corner of the gym. Each team competes to knock down the other team’s castles.

When taking a photo it is important to take angles into consideration. All of the following images were taken in the fourth period gym class. Angles were used to show the perspective of the players, to create a sense of dominance and to accomplish a better sense of emotion.

All lined up! Eighth and ninth graders prepare to play a game of castle ball during fourth period. Castle ball is considered a game of low organization in gym class.

GOOD at BADminton! Ninth grader Breonna Lafferty serves the birdie for a round of badminton. Badminton is available for students to play on “pick em” days in gym.
Team Work! The green team rebuilt their castle after being knocked down by the yellow team. The castle is made of four hula-hoops, two on the top and bottom and two on the sides.

Guarding! When playing four corner castle ball you are allowed to have three guards. To win four corner capture you have to have the least amount of points.
