Scrumpdidliumpcous

Morgan Baker, Reporter

On this blog, I will make a different dessert every week and share my experience with it, the recipe I used and whether or not I thought it was good or not.

This week on Scrumpdidliumpcous, I decided to make some more cupcakes because I really want to perfect my cupcake skills.

First, I combined flour, baking powder, sugar and salt. Then I added the butter once everything was mixed together.

I then mixed my wet ingredients together, which included the following: milk, eggs, yogurt, oil and vanilla extract. After I mixed together the wet ingredients, I put them in with dry ingredients.

Then I put the batter into four different bowls and colored them different colors. I colored the batter green, blue, pink and purple.

After I dyed the batter, I put the batter into separate piping bags and piped each color into cupcake tins.

I put the cupcakes in the oven at 375 degrees Fahrenheit for 18 minutes.

Once the cupcakes were out of the oven, I iced them with icing I had dyed slightly pink.

Overall, I thought they were pretty good. I think the icing job could’ve been better, but they still tasted good. My family loved them and so did all my friends, so I would give this recipe a 9/10.
